| First
of all, heartburn has nothing to do with heart problems.
The pain is caused by stomach acid backing up into the esophagus
and causing the lining of it to be burned, with the pain
showing up in the area where the heart is. Antacids work
by reducing acid in the stomach so that whatever backs up
will not hurt so much. Obviously, you are not solving your
problem but only hiding symptoms. Acid isn't your enemy.
It is needed for proper digestion of food and it even can
kill harmful bacteria. Also, antacids have a lot of aluminum
poisoning because of antacid abuse.
There
are some practical tips that are fairly well known:
Don't
overeat and don't lie down with a full stomach. Don't drink
alcohol, don't drink liquids with your meals, even distilled
water. Drink it in between meals instead. Drink some carrot
juice with your food. Avoid spicy foods and fruit juices.
Best
of all though is to take part in my cleansing program and
to eat according to my food combining principles. I know
that I seem to be suggesting that for almost anything that
ails people, but I can say that simply because I know that
it will be best for you. The stack of testimonies from my
customers tells me so. |
