Daily supplementation of vitamins and minerals is vital

Components of
Choice One:
Oil
soluble vitamins A, D, and E
Vitamin A 25,000 I.U. with 15,000 I.U.
coming from beta carotene and 10,000 I.U. from natural fish
liver oil. This is an excellent daily intake for vitamin
A, especially with 60% from the beta carotene source, with
all the anti-oxidant properties and no chance of an overdose.
Vitamin D 400 I.U. This is the standard
daily dosage most recommend.
Vitamin E 150 I.U. This is an unusually
high amount of natural vitamin E for a once-daily multivitamin,
and represents 500% of the daily value of this powerful
anti-oxidant.
Vitamin B ingredients
One of the distinguishing factors of Choice One is its high
potency of the B-Complex vitamins, so high that an additional
B Complex tablet is not needed in our basic program. This
product includes 100 mg. of each of the following: Vitamins
B-1, B-2, Niacin, B-6, Pantothenic Acid, Choline Bitartrate,
and Inositol, along with 100 mcg. Of B-12
and Biotin, and 400 mcg. of Folic
Acid. With 30 mg. of para-aminobenzoic
acid, the full spectrum of all 11 B-vitamins is
completed, whereas many of the other products on the market
will contain only 7 or 8 of the B-vitamins.
Vitamin
C
A full 300 mg. of vitamin C is contained
in each tablet, by far the highest amount of this nutrient
in a once daily multiple. Rose Hips are
also included, along with other components of the vitamin
C complex Lemon Bioflavonoids (25 mg.),
Hesperidin Concentrate (10 mg.), and Rutin
(25 mg.).
Minerals
The minerals are all in the form of amino acid chelates,
one of the best forms for absorption, and include Calcium50
Mg., Iron 18 Mg., Iodine
150 Mcg., Magnesium 25 Mg., Zinc
15 Mg., Selenium 15 Mcg., Copper
0.25 Mg., Manganese 10 Mg., Chromium
100 Mcg., and Potassium 25 Mg. As you
can see, many of the minerals, especially the mega minerals
such as Calcium and Magnesium, represent only a small percentage
of the daily recommended amounts, so an additional multi-mineral
product is recommended. However, the potencies noted here
are some of the highest available in a multi-vitamin product.
Food-based and other ingredients
To make this a complete product, we have also included many
food-based ingredients, such as vegetable powder,
alfalfa, parsley, watercress, lecithin, and rice.
The digestants betaine hydrochloride and
glutamic acid hydrochloride are added to
help in the breakdown and dissolution of the ingredients
of the product. Finally, to help protect the ingredients
and for ease of swallowing, the product is coated with a
clear vegetable film coating, unlike many other similar
products which have a sugar coating and contain artificial
colors.
One
additional product feature is that the water soluble vitamins,
the B Complex and C, are time-released, so they remain in
the body to be available for absorption over a longer period
of time.
