The
method of preparing our foods by frying is used world wide,
but that doesn't mean that it is good for you. First, extreme
heat is used which destroys a lot of valuable nutrition
and second it is fried in oil which contributes to excess
fat calories. Also, super heated oils are dangerous to the
body in that they produce trans fatty acids which cause
damage to the body at the cellular level. This damage is
caused by free radicals. This type of super heated oil is
also very toxic to the liver and produces low density lipoprotein
cholesterol, which is the bad type. There is also increased
risk of colon cancer as well. In addition, fat that is heated
to a high degree becomes rancid. It is best to bake or broil
your chicken or fish thereby avoiding excess fat calories
and trans fatty acid toxicity.
Every
disease - whether it is arthritis, diabetes, hypertension,
obesity, ulcers or whatever - is a desperate warning signal
from our bodies telling us that we are doing something
wrong. We need to heed these warning signals immediately,
